Meet Gerald Harris
Hi, I’m Gerald Harris, founder of Atlanta Land Buyers. I started this company for a simple reason: too many landowners in our area feel stuck, facing a stack of tax notices, an inherited property they never asked for, or a piece of land that’s become more burden than asset, with nowhere to turn for a straight answer. Atlanta Land Buyers exists to change that, offering clarity, honesty, and a real path forward for people navigating difficult property decisions.
I’ve spent more than 15 years in real estate, first as a licensed agent, then as an investor, and throughout it all, as an advocate for property owners facing hard choices. In that time, I’ve sat across the table with families navigating looming foreclosure deadlines and other challenges that came with more questions than answers. That experience shaped why I created this company: around patience, plain answers, and doing right by the person in front of me.
These days, I live in the Atlanta area with my wife and our child, and I’m also my aging mother’s primary caregiver. That role has taught me something no real estate license ever could, what it actually feels like to make hard decisions about a loved one’s home, their finances, and their future, often while juggling everything else life asks of you. It’s given me a level of patience and empathy I bring to every conversation I have with landowners, because I’ve been on the other side of a hard decision myself.
My goal with Atlanta Land Buyers has always been simple: educate first, help second.
